Marc Dupuis-Desormeaux

Marc Dupuis-Desormeaux is the President and CEO of the Turtle Survival Alliance and the volunteer Chief Operating Officer of Turtle Survival Alliance Canada. Based in Toronto, he is also a Director of the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre.  He holds a Ph.D. in Biology, a Master of Environmental Studies and a Master of Business Administration.

Marc is a former capital markets banker and a lecturer in conservation biology at York University’s Glendon College.  He is also a member of the IUCN Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group, a Fellow International of the Explorers Club, the past chair of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (Canada), and a past director of the Canadian Herpetological Society.
